Cake Servings

 

Cake Servings details a ratio of how many slices can be cut in a whole cake.  It’s based on slice 2″x3″ or 2×2″.  Depending on the size slice that is cut and how many layers, it could be more or less pieces.

Layer Cakes

 

Except for 6″ & 8″ Cakes, all of our cakes are available in 2 or 3 layers.  Layers can range from 1/2-inch to 1 1/2 inches tall.  Sheet cake layers are usually in the lower range in height, since that is made one rectangle cake cut in half.  Round cakes are taller due to each layer baked in individual pans.  Sheet cakes, while they lack height, make up for it due to it being easier to design on.  More space!  More layers are beneficial because you can cut slices smaller.

 

Cake Sizes

The only sheet cake we offer right now is 9″x13″.  This cake is shaped like a rectangle.  All of our other cake sizes are round.  They range from 6 inches to 14 inches.  More specifically: 6″, 8″, 9″, 10″, 12″ and 14″.
